The 2012 Annual Conference of the Philosophy of Education Society of Australasia (PESA) will be held in Chiayi, Taiwan. As the meeting point of hybrid blend of cultures, the culture of Taiwan incorporates diverse cultural elements including traditional Chinese views, aboriginal cultures and the modern Western values. The aim of conference is to invite and share multiple and diverse perspectives about new challenges in education and the implications for philosophy of education. The theme of this conference in 2012 is “Education Crossing Boundaries.” Individuals interested in presenting papers at “Education Crossing Boundaries” are invited to submit abstracts, symposium proposals, working papers, or papers.
